Most early-stage startup founders spend too much time on back-office tasks that span HR, legal, and compliance. AbstractOps eliminates the need for context-switching between multiple tools by allowing founders to manage hiring, legal contracts, payments, and compliance from one dashboard.

Challenge

Founders often start their company thinking they’ll be working most on their product; they’re unaware of the administrative tasks required to operate, like hiring employees, paying vendors, or managing legal contracts. Handling these back-office tasks often requires switching between multiple tools (Google Drive or Docusign for contracts, Mercury or Wise for payments, Gusto or Deel for HR, Carta or Pulley for equity, and so on), and these tools don’t often speak to each other.

Mission

AbstractOps mission is for entrepreneurship to be accessible to anyone, by reducing the overhead that comes with operating a company.

AbstractOps is an operating system for founders to manage their company; its main products are:

  • Hiring where founders can prepare legally-binding paperwork (e.g. offer letters, CIIAs, etc) and manage new hires’ onboarding process
  • Contracts for building reusable contract templates via a drag-and-drop interface, and sending for digital signature.
  • Payments for tracking vendor invoices and automating payments with 1-click
