SHIFT helps teams work better together.
Every team has underlying dynamics that impact their performance. SHIFT’s tools are based on behavioral psychology and help teams find out where their biggest opportunities are to improve.
I joined SHIFT at an early and exciting stage of the company. The product was fully functional when I joined and already in-use by enterprise companies; however, there was no formal process for design, product, or tracking.
I was responsible for moving the engineering team from requests via Google docs to a proper project management system, organizing sprints, and managing the backlog. I lead the redesign of SHIFT’s core feature Align, which included an overhaul of the data report that teams receive when they complete the exercise. I introduced a data-first mindset with Redash and Heap Analytics.
Most importantly, I’ve spoken with team members, team managers, team coaches, and leadership executives of Fortune 500 companies, trying to understand what pain-points their teams experience and what product would support them.
