Healthcare finance teams use Level to do what existing tools cannot: close revenue in a day, recognize revenue accurately at the transaction-level with machine learning, and analyze performance in real time.

Challenge

Due to the inherent complexity in healthcare, finance teams often struggle to report on basic performance metrics like revenue. Data often lives in multiple systems, which requires a lot of manual effort to collect and analyze. Though financial software exists, none is designed specifically for healthcare.

 

Mission

Level Health’s mission is to allow healthcare finance teams to report on their performance data in real-time.

Level is the first accounting revenue accounting platform purpose-built for health. It’s main features are:

  • Month Close for importing financial data from legacy systems into Level and preparing it for analysis.
  • Analytics for building real-time reports and dashboards to analyze critical KPIs.

 

My Role

As a solo designer at Level, I’ve been responsible for:

  • Refreshing Level’s brand, including designing the new logo, brand style guide, social media assets, and company swag.
  • Building and maintaining Level’s marketing website myself (Webflow)
  • Designing the core product for finance managers, heavily focused on the Month Close, Analytics, and Contract Management features.
  • Designing Level’s core pitch deck and visual material to support sales/marketing.
  • Creating and maintaining Level’s design system and contributing to the front-end development of the Level’s web app to ensure consistency between conception in Figma and production.
